Creativity runs deep in my blood—passed down through generations of gifted craftswomen whose hands shaped beauty from the everyday. I’ve inherited a touch of their talent, and a deep respect for the traditions they carried.
My work is a tapestry woven from a lifetime of exploring this planet’s rich cultures and natural treasures. Each piece of jewellery and craft reflects a love of organic design, shaped by the materials and stories I’ve gathered on my travels.
I work only with natural earth and animal materials that are ethically sourced—never taken in a way that ends a life for the sake of art. Instead, I honour their existence by ensuring that nothing goes to waste. These materials, often overlooked or discarded, carry memory and meaning. By giving them new life through craft, I hope to celebrate their beauty and spirit.
It’s my joy to share these creations—and the appreciation behind them—with others.
With love,
Kirsty

At Earth Nations Craft, the vision is simple: to create pieces that carry meaning, beauty, and respect. Each item is crafted not just to be worn or admired but to tell a story—of nature’s elegance, cultural wisdom and ethical care.
Kirsty is committed to sourcing materials in ways that honour both the life they came from and the communities who gather them. Her travels have connected her with small indigenous groups whose practices align with her values—like the villages in North West Thailand, where iridescent beetle wings are collected only after the insects’ natural life cycle ends. These partnerships allow her to support sustainable livelihoods while preserving the integrity of the materials used.
Every creation is a quiet collaboration between nature, tradition and thoughtful design.
Every material used at Earth Nations Craft is chosen with care, reverence and responsibility. Every material used at Earth Nations Craft is chosen with care, reverence and responsibility. Kirsty follows the principle of honouring animals and the earth by using only materials that are ethically and sustainably gathered—never culled for the sake of art. Most are by-products of the food chain, flora and fauna protection acts or naturally shed remnants that would otherwise be discarded.
• Beetle Wing Jewellery
Crafted from the iridescent outer wings (elytra) of Sternocera Aequisignata jewel beetles, sourced from Northern Thailand. These beetles complete their life cycle in a single migration and their wings are collected only after their natural passing—a practice protected by royal decree from the Queen of Thailand herself.
• Feather Jewellery
All feathers are responsibly sourced as by-products of regulated food systems, conservation efforts or gifted by owners of exotic birds who collect naturally shed plumage.
• Leather and Hide
Skins are salvaged as by-products of the food chain and leather is repurposed from offcuts destined for waste. This ensures no animal is harmed or culled specifically for craft, while giving new life to materials that would otherwise be lost.
Through these practices, Kirsty honours the lives behind the materials—preserving their memory, respecting their journey and crafting with integrity.

This idea started with the artist Kirsty in 2015 as Earth Nations Native Craft and the plan was to create a space in the UK where indigenous artists from around the world would have a space to expand their exposure to the world.
That pandemic in 2020 halted the plans but didn't end them. For now, Kirsty is showcasing her own craft here with Earth Nations Craft but the plan for the central indigenous art hub is still going to proceed, just a little later than planned.
Check back here in future for updates.
